Eric Purdy, M.D.

Dr. Eric Purdy was born in Chicago, Illinois. He is a board certified Ophthalmologist.

His medical degree was obtained from Southern Illinois University of Illinois School of Medicine in Springfield, IL. A residency in internal medicine was completed at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. His ophthalmology residency was completed at University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. A fellowship program in Orbital, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was completed at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Purdy joined the medical staff at Caylor-Nickel Clinic in July, 1993.

Dr. Purdy has actively traveled on numerous medical mission trips to see underserved patients. Most of his mission trips have been through the Lion's Club.

Dr. Purdy has a special interest in eye surgery and surgery of the eyelids and orbit. Dr. Purdy, his wife Paula, and two children reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
