Jeanne Ploetz was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a Certified Nurse Midwife and works as a Women's Health Nurse-Practitioner. She received her R.N. from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio and her Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from State University of New York. She joined the staff of Caylor-Nickel Clinic in 1979.

Mrs. Ploetz is a member of the American college of Nurse-Midwives, Coalition of Advance Practice Nurses of Indiana and the Nurses Association of Women's Health Professionals.

She and her husband reside north of Bluffton.

Professionally, her special interests include teen health, pregnancy care, and Expectant Parents' Classes.
