Dr. Mathew was born in India. He is a board certified Internal Medicine specialist.

He received his medical degree from the Medical College in Trivandrum in Kerala, India in 1981. Prior to joining the medical staff of Caylor-Nickel Clinic in 2000, Dr. Mathew was in private practice in Huntington, Indiana. He completed his internal medicine residency training at New Rochelle Hospital and Medical Center in New York in 1996.

Dr. Mathew, his wife Shirley, and two daughters reside in Huntington, Indiana.
