Denise Downs, M.D.

Dr. Denise Downs is a board-certified pediatrician who received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1994. She graduated with distinction and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, and the national medical honor society. She joined Caylor-Nickel Clinic in 1998 after completing her residency in pediatrics at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Downs undergraduate and master's degrees are in the field of education and romance languages. She taught high school languages courses in Ohio prior to returning to school to study medicine.

Dr. Downs has special interests in the care of preschool and grade school children. She is also interested in the relationship which forms between the doctor and patient. She resides in Bluffton, Indiana.
